Since 1968 MasterCraft has been shaping the boating industry by building boats that are “held to a higher standard.” In July 2007, Wayne Sorensen opened new doors in Liberty Lake, Washington with his new dealership, “MasterCraft Inland Northwest.”
Sorensen currently owns Utah Water Sports, Utah’s exclusive MasterCraft dealership. His Utah based dealership is considered “the premier boat dealership of the Rocky Mountains.” Utah Water Sports is the sixth-highest volume MasterCraft dealer worldwide, and was recently tabbed by Boating Industry Magazine as one of the top 100 boat dealers in the country. “They produce nothing but record-breaking numbers for MasterCraft,” says John Behling, MasterCraft’s marketing director.
“I’ve been boating up here every summer for 10 years. I have been renting homes on the Spokane River with my family, and have fallen in love with the area,” says Sorensen. “We are basically replicating what we have done in Utah, and putting it in Liberty Lake – it is state-of-the-art, very high end,” Sorensen adds. His nephew, Shaun Sorensen is general manager and part owner of the MasterCraft Inland Northwest dealership. The dealership has a 4,500 square foot showroom, a service department consisting of 5 service bays, and a pro shop that sells accessories such as waterskis, wakeboards, life jackets, wakeskates, surfboards and more. The goal is to deliver the customer with the ultimate water sports experience.
